OK.  Here I sit in the US Midwest, minding my own business thinking “am I too old to bother with Twitter?”  But I’m a geek, so I sign up and follow a few bands I like.  Within 24 hrs; actually before I had even made my first tweet, I see that I’m being followed by hayleyjfoster in Australia.  Who?  Why?  I haven’t even tweeted yet.  Clever marketing, that’s why.

haleyjfoster’s most recent tweet was about a photo shoot for her as yet unsigned band, CHAINGANG.  Turns out that we both follow Spinnerette and I imagine she considers her band similar and was using Twitter to introduce ChainGang to Spinnerette fans.  It worked.  A couple of songs were available for download, (see below) and while I’m not 100% on board with what they’ve done so far, I liked it well enough that I’ll keep following them and see how they progress.  They’ve definitely got the right look.
