Another Reprieve for Google Toolbar and Firefox 6 users

Well it looked like Google or Firefox finally did something to completely break the Google Toolbar, but there’s another work around.  I’ve written previously here about how to get Google Toolbar working with Firefox 5 and up.  But in the last week or so, it became impossible to sign into the toolbar to have access to Google Bookmarks.  Here’s a fix for that.

Follow the same program path you did to get to the install.rdf file, but go one subfolder deeper into the /lib folder and find toolbar.js.  With a text editor find all occurrences of “www.google.com/accounts” and change it to “accounts.google.com”.   Restart Firefox and you’re good to go until someone breaks it again.
